Review of Boaz Miller’s ‘Rationality Principle Idealized’

Just found this review. It’s worth checking out.

  1. Interesting but old hat. I suppose we have to look at Miller’s paper (not an easy task) but the idealizing element in Popper’s approach was discussed by Jack Birner, and Noretta Koertge showed how more empirical content can be injected in real situations.

There are many references that Miller and/or Gorton should have cited – Hands, Jarvie, Gombrich (applications of SA in art, architecture and fashion).

Will come back with more comments later. Will try to obtain the Miller paper from Gorton.

  2. This blog needs more closure.
